Hi. My name's Beth Pitt and I'm a photographer from Derby. 

As of the start of 2011, I am a student photographer looking into becoming a freelancer. I decided after seeing all the millions of 365/'My year in pictures' projects I decided to do a slight variation. 

I've always been fascinated by people and the amount of different people you see and meet everyday without even realising. So to make me focus on this in myself, for a whole year everyday I would take a photo of someone I have met on that day. Could be someone I've known before, someone I've met that day or just ask a stranger on the street. 

Also to add a personality to the face, I've asked everyone taking part to write down their name and a random fact about themselves. I'm finding it interesting whether they give me a full name, nick-name, and whether or not their fact is actually fact.

Anyways. Without further a-do, I shall now try to upload all my photos I have upto the present day, so you can keep up with the project with me :)
